Amanda's Love Story

Brian Noah Snow, "Bug" is my son. He is also a beautiful Angel in Heaven. He was born stillborn on August 1, 2002. We love him so very much... and this page we (Mommy and Daddy) dedicate to him, our little "LoveBug."

I was 32 weeks along in my pregnancy and everything had been going perfect. On Tuesday morning, I went to my routine doctors visit. Once again, things were going great!! Until it was time to hear Bug's heartbeat. The doctor couldn't find one. She took me back into the ultrasound room... we still could not locate one nor see any movement on the monitor. She explained what was going on and said I needed to get right to the hospital. She also emphasized that she COULD NOT make an exact diagnosis. We needed the proper equipment at the hospital. My husband and I held out hope that the trained technicians at the hospital would find something that the doctor missed. Unfortunately, they confirmed our baby was no longer with us.

We had to induce labor... and 24 hours later, my son was born. We held true to our beliefs and did not know until that time if Bug was a boy or girl. Upon birth, we learned we had a son.. and he was given the name Brian Noah Snow.

We were able to hold him. He was perfect. 4lbs 9oz and 18 inches long. Full head of brown hair. You could see he was a perfect combination of Brian and I. Definitely a child conceived out of love.

We hugged and kissed him. Talked to him and just looked at him, committing every detail to memory. Then we had him baptized and they took him away.

Now I have his baby box sitting on display in our china hutch. Along with his snow globe and Christmas Angel that we have bought him. His beautiful picture sits proudly on top of our piano in our living room. He is with is daily in heart, soul and spirit.

Bug, you are our son and we love and miss you so much. We know you are watching over Daddy and I and we long for the day we can hold you again.
